2. Services

2.1. Appointments

I offer convenient online virtual sessions conducted via Google Meet, each typically lasting approximately one hour.

The initial stop smoking hypnotherapy session may extend up to 1.5 - 2 hours, encompassing a complimentary four-week aftercare period. This period allows you to schedule additional sessions within these four weeks as needed.

Given the individual nature of therapy, I recommend booking sessions one at a time to tailor the approach to your specific requirements.

2.2. Online/Virtual Sessions

To ensure a stable connection, kindly find a quiet space at home and consider using headphones. In the event of a session interruption due to a connectivity issue, failing to reconnect automatically within 1 minute, I will promptly contact you via email or phone, using the provided number during registration.

2.3. Techniques and Methods

In my sessions, I utilise a diverse range of therapeutic approaches, including hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), NLP, mindfulness, and occupational therapy techniques. Periodically, I may provide recordings designed for your individual use at home. Please note that these recordings are exclusively for your benefit and should not be shared with others.

2.4. Fees

For current pricing, kindly refer to my Session Fees. I reserve the right to adjust my session fees and will notify you in writing via email at least 48 hours before any pre-booked session in case of fee revisions.

2.5. Payment

To secure your appointment, full payment is required (at least 72 hours in advance) via bank transfer using the following details or via Stripe using the payment link sent to your email address:

While I cannot offer guarantees, I assure you of my dedicated expertise and collaborative effort in your therapeutic journey. Successful outcomes depend on mutual commitment and motivation between the client and therapist.

2.7. Number of Sessions

The number of sessions needed varies for each individual, and there is no obligation to book a specific number of sessions.

2.8. Punctuality

Please note that if you are more than ten minutes late for your appointment, the session may be canceled without a refund.

3. Cancellations

3.1. Cancellation Policy

To respect the personalised nature of my services, I request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

If you miss an appointment, cancel or reschedule an appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, you will be charged the full cost of the appointment.

3.2. The Cooling-Off Period

As per the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your appointment and receive a full refund within 14 days from the day following your booking confirmation email.

However, in compliance with regulation 36 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, engaging in services within the initial 14 days waives your right to cancel within this period. The cancellation window closes 24 hours before your scheduled appointment start time.

3.3. Waiving the 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Before your scheduled session, preparations are made on my end. Your explicit consent is required to waive your right to cancel the appointment within the initial 14 days. Opting for an appointment within this period indicates your decision to forfeit the cooling-off period and the option for a full refund. Cancellations made up to 24 hours before your appointment time are eligible for a full refund.

3.4. Appointments Booked Less Than 24 Hours in Advance

Appointments scheduled within the next 24 hours do not allow for changes or cancellations. Once booked, these appointments are considered final.

3.5. Stop-Smoking Four-Week Aftercare Service

If you cancel or reschedule an appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, you waive your entitlement to the four-week aftercare service. In such cases, any subsequent sessions will be charged at my standard session fee rate.

3.6. Cancellation Procedure

To initiate the cancellation process, please inform me of your decision at least 24 hours before your appointment. You can do this by sending a clear statement to jo@virtualtherapystudio.com. Upon receipt of your cancellation request, I will promptly acknowledge it via email.

3.7. My Cancellation Policy

Should I need to cancel the appointment, face unexpected delays, or be unable to perform the service, I will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.

3.7. Refunds

In cases where you are entitled to end the contract, I will initiate a refund using the same payment method you utilised. Kindly provide your bank details for the refund process.
